Fund highlights
  • Core equity investment: By investing in high-quality companies committed to sustainable and growing dividends, the portfolio may be a compelling starting point for an investor’s equity allocation.
  • Differentiated approach: The portfolio owns fundamentally attractive but often overlooked dividend-paying companies with a broad range of yields, including those initiating dividends, driving enhanced diversification potential
  • Risk and reward balance: A disciplined focus has led to a long-term track record of managing risk and delivering competitive returns

Fund description

An actively managed equity exchange traded fund that focuses on high-quality, mid- to large-cap companies with the potential for sustainable dividend growth in an effort to provide attractive total return composed of income and capital appreciation while also managing risk.

This ETF is different from traditional ETFs

The Fund is an actively managed, semi-transparent exchange-traded fund (“ETF”). Unlike traditional ETFs that typically publish their portfolio holdings on a daily basis, the Fund does not publish the daily holdings of its actual portfolio (the “Actual Portfolio”). Instead, the Fund discloses the daily holdings of a portfolio transparency substitute (the “Proxy Portfolio”), which is designed by the Fund’s sub-adviser to (i) reflect the economic exposure and risk characteristics of the Actual Portfolio on any given trading day, (ii) allow for the efficient trading of Fund shares by authorized participants (“Authorized Participants”), and (iii) shield the identity of the Fund’s full daily portfolio holdings. The Proxy Portfolio includes some of the Actual Portfolio holdings, but there is no required minimum overlap of holdings between the Proxy Portfolio and the Actual Portfolio. In addition, the Fund publishes certain information metrics related to the Fund’s Proxy Portfolio (the “Proxy Portfolio Disclosures”). This information is provided by the Fund to help keep the market price of Fund shares trading at or close to the underlying net asset value (“NAV”) per share of the Fund.

Fund data

Performance

Average cumulative returns

Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Investment returns and principal value will fluctuate so that shares redeemed may be worth more or less than their original cost. Current performance may be higher or lower than the performance shown. Total returns for a period of less than one year are cumulative. Returns assume reinvestment of dividends and capital gains. Market price returns are based on the closing market price.

Shares of ETFs are bought and sold at market price as opposed to net asset value. As a result, an investor may pay more than net asset value when buying and receive less than net asset value when selling. In addition, brokerage commissions will reduce returns. Fund shares are not individually redeemable directly with the Fund, but blocks of shares may be acquired from the Fund and tendered for redemption to the Fund by certain institutional investors in Creation Units.

A word on risk

Investing involves risk; principal loss is possible. There is no guarantee the Fund’s investment objectives will be achieved. Dividend-paying stocks, such as those held by the Fund, are subject to market risk, concentration or sector risk, preferred security risk, and common stock risk. Smaller company stocks are subject to greater volatility. Foreign investments involve additional risks including currency fluctuations, political and economic instability, and lack of liquidity.
