Stefano Rubini

Stefano is the co-head of the diversified value-add investments team based in Europe. He focuses on sourcing and executing high yield investment opportunities across all real estate sectors and works with Nuveen’s existing vertically integrated sector specialist teams. In addition to this, he oversees the deployment of Nuveen’s European value add series, as well as being involved in capital raising.

Prior to his current role, Stefano was at ARES Management for three years where he served as a lead European transactions professional since 2022. Before joining ARES Management, he spent six years at Partners Group in Switzerland and the U.K. in the investment team. Stefano began his career in investment banking and project finance at UniCredit in Milan (Italy).

Stefano is a native of Italy and holds BS and MS degrees from Bocconi University, a BS in Philosophy from the University of Milan and an MBA from the University of St. Gallen.
