Chris Zissis

Chris is theHead of Real Assets Technology and International for Nuveen Real Estate and Real Assets, and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. He is accountable for bringing the Real Estate and Assets Technology groups together across the globe, leading the technology strategy to enable growth, and continuing the build out our One Nuveen strategy.

Chris brings more than 20 years of technology, data and digital transformation experience in professional services, financial services, investment management, asset management, capital markets and real estate services around the globe. He has held a number of leadership roles that have put him at the forefront of many fintech and proptech transformations. Prior to joining the firm, Chris was a Technology Officer and Head of Application Delivery for the International and UK Retail Banks of Barclays PLC. He was Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) for real estate and investment management firm DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield). Chris also served as EMEA CIO, and Global Chief Technology Officer and CIO (Capital Markets) at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL).

Chris graduated from The University of Cape Town with a Bachelor degree in Economics, B.Soc.Sc Honours, and an M.A in Clinical Psychology. He is a Board Trustee of the Woodland Trust, which is focussed on sustainability and seeing a UK rich in native woods and trees.
