About Stephen Shepherd
Stephen is the Co-Head of Legal for Nuveen Natural Capital, with regional responsibility for the legal operations in Europe, APAC and Africa. Stephen joined Nuveen Natural Capital in 2015 and supported the development of Nuveen Natural Capital’s first investment platform in Europe and the growth of the European business.
Stephen has over 20 years’ legal experience across mergers and acquisitions, real estate, funds and ESG. His prior legal roles include Molson Coors beverage company, Pinsent Masons and Shakespeare Martineau solicitors.
Stephen is part of the Nuveen Natural Capital Leadership Team, European Executive Management Team and participates in the Global Investment Committee.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Psychology from Bristol University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law.
