Joseph Spinelli

About Joseph Spinelli
Joseph Spinelli is a member of the Nuveen quantitative fixed income portfolio management team. He is responsible for supporting the index strategies managed by the team, analytics platform development, credit trading, and performance/risk analysis.
Prior to joining Nuveen in 2020, Joseph was a director of the quantitative analytics team at Dash Financial Technologies, where he was responsible for equity options transaction cost analysis and trading algorithm strategies. Prior to that, Joseph was a manager of the equities and fixed income analytics team at Nuveen’s parent company; TIAA.
Joseph received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union and a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.
