About Jeff Sun
Jeff is a portfolio manager on Nuveen's Target-Date Multi Asset (TDMA) Team. He is directly involved in the portfolio management and research efforts of the TDMA team.
Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Jeff led the goals-based investment team at Franklin Templeton Investments. His responsibilities include asset allocation, portfolio construction, and alpha research within multi-asset portfolios. Prior to this, Jeff held several quantitative research roles at J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse, and Legg Mason.
Jeff graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Boston College, where he was a Presidential Scholar. His work has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Wealth Management, Journal of Portfolio Management, Journal of Investing, and Journal of Alternative Investments. Jeff also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
