About Andre Shepley
Andre is now part of the newly formed Climate Solutions Group which leads Nuveen’s firm-level climate strategy, including Net Zero execution for the General Account of TIAA, investment integration of climate risks and opportunities, climate product development, data sourcing and reporting, and climate-related external commitments, memberships, and partnerships.
Andre joined Nuveen in 2021 to lead environmental, social, and governance integration effort within Nuveen’s equity businesses and research and development for Responsible Investing (RI) products, where he helped launch the Global Real Estate Carbon Reduction and Global Clean Infrastructure Impact strategies. Prior to Nuveen, Andre was a Vice President and Research Analyst at Lazard Asset Management and the Head of Environmental, Social, and Governance Research at Truvalue Labs, having started his career in equity research and trading at UBS Investment Bank.
Andre graduated with a B.A. from Pomona College and a Masters of Sustainability Management at Columbia University.
