About Stephan C. Petersen
Stephan Petersen is a portfolio manager at Winslow Capital Management, an investment specialist of Nuveen. As a portfolio manager on the Large Cap Growth ESG strategy, he is responsible for portfolio construction and management. He serves as the primary resource for ESG data collection and issue awareness for the Investment Team. Stephan and the sector analysts conduct detailed ESG analysis on all investments. He is also a member of the Investment Team for the Large Cap Growth strategy.
Stephan joined the firm in 2013. Prior to that, he was a senior equity research analyst at Thrivent Asset Management in Minneapolis. He also served as a research consultant at Cagney Research Group and a financial analyst at Citadel Investment Group.
Stephan graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
