Jason K. Palmer

Jason Palmer is a Managing Director and Head of Housing Asset Management for Nuveen Real Estate. He leads asset management strategy and execution across the firm's housing portfolio in major U.S. markets, with responsibility for asset performance, capital strategy, and investment outcomes. Jason works closely with acquisitions, development, research, and executive leadership to drive long-term value creation on behalf of institutional investors.

Prior to his current role, Jason served as Senior Director of West Region Housing Asset Management. In that capacity, he onboarded and integrated more than $2 billion in housing investments across core, value-add, development, and joint venture strategies, while expanding Nuveen's platform into key West Coast and Pacific Northwest markets. Before joining the firm in 2008, he held finance and strategy roles at Countrywide Bank and Archstone-Smith, beginning his career as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young.

Jason holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Chico. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
