About Eugene P. Novak
Gene is a research analyst for Nuveen’s Small Cap Value and Mid Cap Value strategies and related institutional portfolios, since 2019. Gene specializes in financials and industrials.
Since joining the firm in 2006, Gene has held a variety of positions. Before his current role, Gene was an equity research analyst for the mid- and large-cap equity team. He specialized in non-bank financials. Previously, he held various product management and performance analytical positions with the firm.
Gene graduated with a B.A. in Finance from the University of Minnesota Duluth. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Minnesota.
