About Eugene P. Novak
Gene is a portfolio manager for Nuveen’s small and mid cap value strategies. He is also an equity research analyst specializing in financials and industrials.
Since joining the firm in 2006, Gene has held a variety of positions. Before his current role, Gene was an equity research analyst for the mid cap and large cap equity team. He specialized in non-bank financials. Previously, he held various product management and performance analytical positions with the firm.
Gene graduated with a B.A. in Finance from the University of Minnesota Duluth. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Minnesota.
