About Coale Mechlin
Coale is a portfolio manager on the leveraged finance investment team at Nuveen, focusing on bank loan strategies.
Coale joined Nuveen in 2017 as a research analyst covering the technology sector. In 2021, Coale became an associate portfolio manager for the platform’s bank loan strategy, supporting the lead portfolio manager, and he continues in this capacity as co-portfolio manager. Prior to joining the firm, he was a high yield/senior loan capital markets associate for J.P. Morgan and an analyst for the UBS Investment Bank.
Coale graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University.
