About Anthony R. Manno Jr.
Anthony R. Manno Jr. is CEO, President and Chief Investment Officer of Security Capital Research & Management Incorporated. Prior to joining Security Capital in 1994, Mr. Manno spent 14 years with LaSalle Partners Limited as a Managing Director, responsible for real estate investment banking activities. Mr. Manno began his career in real estate finance at The First National Bank of Chicago and has 45 years of experience in the real estate investment business. Mr. Manno has been with Security Capital for 25 years.
He received an M.B.A. in Finance with honors (Beta Gamma Sigma) from the University of Chicago and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University with a B.A. and M.A. in Economics. Mr. Manno is a Certified Public Accountant and was awarded an Elijah Watt Sells Award and is a recipient of the President's Call to Service Award, December 2008.
