About Robert Kron
As part of Nuveen's Advisor Education team, Rob develops and delivers educational programs designed to help financial professionals deepen client relationships and grow their businesses. He joined Nuveen in 2020 with more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 11 years as head of advisor and client education at Blackrock and 17 years at Merrill Lynch.
His areas of expertise include financial planning, advisor practice management, and investor education, and he draws on a range of professional experience – including managing an individual retirement account (IRA) platform, developing technology tools to assist plan participants, and building financial planning capabilities – to educate advisors. In addition to presenting virtually and in person to audiences of all sizes, Rob has appeared in various print and broadcast media, including CNBC, Fox Business, Bloomberg, and Advisor TV, the Wall Street Journal and USA Today.
Rob graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from the University of Colorado.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered CFP (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
