About Thomas C. Ellis
Tom manages separate accounts for Nuveen’s municipal fixed income team, focused primarily on long-term municipal bond strategies. Additionally, he provides oversight for the municipal ladder strategies and manages dispositions for Nuveen’s defined portfolio franchise.
Tom began his career in the investment industry when he joined the firm in 2000. Prior to his current role, Tom spent several years as an assistant portfolio manager in charge of portfolio construction and trading activities. He also served as the supervisor for daily trading and portfolio management support functions.
Tom graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas Christian University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University, Chicago.
