Lena Doan

Lena Doan is a Managing Director for Energy Infrastructure Credit at Nuveen. Lena’s background includes investing across capital structures, managing companies and energy trading.

Prior to joining Nuveen in 2024, Lena was a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners where she focused on private credit, structured equity, and special situations investments in Energy, Power & Renewables. Prior to HPS, she was at Carlyle where she invested in senior loans, mezzanine debt and preferred equity in the energy and power sectors. Lena spent five years at Denham Capital making control private equity investments in natural resources. She began her career in investment banking at Citi and was a trader at Calpine.

Lena graduated with a BBA in Finance with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, and has an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
