Dean G. DuMonthier, CFA^®

Dean is a portfolio manager on Nuveen's international equities team. With a unique combination of fundamental and quantitative skills, he focuses his expertise in portfolio, research and risk management in serving our clients’ needs. He provides macroeconomic research as well as serves as a portfolio manager and Health Care sector analyst for the international equities team.

Given his fundamental and quantitative skillsets, he supports the firm’s portfolio management as well as risk management efforts. He brings additional perspective with extensive ESG research and global investment experience. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Dean was a senior investment team member of the global quantitative equity and multi-asset class investment group at Neuberger Berman, LLC. He also served as a partner, portfolio manager global long/short equity at Copia Capital LLC. and entered the investment industry in 1991.

Dean graduated with a B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from Lawrence University and an M.B.A. in Accounting, Finance, and Marketing, with distinction, from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation.
