About Beth A. Dougherty
Beth is a portfolio manager for Nuveen, responsible for managing separate accounts for the firm’s municipal fixed income team, focusing on municipal ladder strategies.
She began her career in the investment industry in 2004 and joined the firm in 2010. Prior to her current role, Beth served as a senior research analyst, responsible for conducting credit analysis and providing trade recommendations. Previously, she spent five years with Moody’s Investors Service where she covered a number of sectors including general obligation, special tax, water and sewer and public power.
Beth graduated a B.A. from Marquette University and an M.P.P. from the University of Chicago’s Irving B. Harris School of Public Policy Studies.
