Anjali Doshi

Anjali oversees sovereign and emerging markets corporate research for Nuveen’s global fixed income team and is a member of the emerging and non-U.S. developed markets fixed income team. Her research responsibilities include covering corporate credits in Europe, the Middle East and Africa across all sectors. Anjali is also a co-portfolio manager for Nuveen’s Emerging Markets Sustainable Bond strategy and was a leading voice in the development of Nuveen’s proprietary EM corporate ESG framework.

Prior to joining the firm in 2014, she was a senior associate in the emerging markets and international affairs group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. In this role, she focused on financial services sector and policy research in Asia and the Middle East. Previously, she held equity and industry research positions at the International Finance Corporation, Bear Stearns and Goldman Sachs. Anjali entered the investment industry in 2003.

Anjali graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard University.
