Ellen F. Chenoweth

Ellen is a Managing Director and Client Portfolio Manager specializing in Municipal Fixed Income at Nuveen Asset Management. Ellen acts as a conduit to the Municipal investment team and represents the investment philosophy and process, fixed income outlook, and portfolio positioning across the municipal suite of strategies.

Ellen brings over 15 years of investment industry expertise to the role holding a variety of positions in the fixed income market including as an investment strategist, product strategy and development manager, and sales and operations associate. Most recently Ellen served as a Client Portfolio Manager and Investment Strategist focused on both Tax-Exempt and Taxable Corporate Fixed Income sectors. This broad-based experience informs Ellen’s holistic approach to helping tax-aware clients achieve their objectives.

Ellen graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University. Ellen was honored by the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association as a Rising Star in 2022 and continues to champion retirement security.
