About Nicholas M. Henry
In Nick's role as a MD, Client Portfolio Manager on the Nuveen Municipal Bond team, he supports the firm's sales and marketing efforts related to the full municipal bond capabilities and product suite. He acts as a conduit to the muni team, representing its views on the economy and market in general, as well as the team's investment thesis and process, and product suite positioning, specifically.
Nick has been in the asset management industry since 1998, specializing in municipal bonds since 2005. Nick joined Nuveen in 2024. Primarily, prior to joining Nuveen, Nick spent over 19 years at OppenheimerFunds, mostly as a CPM on the Rochester municipal bond team. Nick also has experience starting up a new municipal bond asset management firm, and this background at both tiny firms and large firms informs his outlook on the industry as well as the muni bond market.
Nick earned a Bachelor's degree from Connecticut College, and a MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
