About Melissa Zaccagnino
Melissa is an Associate Portfolio Manager on Nuveen's emerging and non-U.S. developed markets fixed income team. She is also a co-portfolio manager for several of Nuveen’s emerging markets debt and non-U.S. developed fixed income strategies.
Before joining the firm in late 2020, Melissa spent much of her career on the sell-side with deep experience in foreign exchange and derivatives in Emerging and G10 markets. Most recently she was in institutional sales covering Emerging Markets at Santander and has previously worked at Societe Generale and Nomura. Melissa got her start in the business at Bear Stearns in 2006.
Melissa graduated with a B.A. from Vassar College and a Masters in International Affairs with a concentration in International Finance and Economic Policy from Columbia University. Melissa is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
