Lara Devieux, CFA^®

Lara is the Head of Insurance Advisory & Product for Nuveen, responsible for developing, structuring and launching investment strategies for insurance clients. She collaborates with partners across Nuveen and TIAA to grow and service insurance clients worldwide, ensuring investment products and services meet the unique considerations of insurance companies.

Prior to joining the firm, Lara was Head of Insurance Advisory and Solutions at MetLife Investment Management. Prior to this role, she was the Chief of Staff to MetLife’s Chief Investment Officer. She spent the first 16 years of her career as a securities research analyst covering the life, health and P&C (re)insurance industry. She held buy and sell-side equity and credit research roles at Goldman Sachs, MetLife, Fontana Capital, Wells Fargo (formerly Wachovia) and ABN Amro.

Lara graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Economics and a concentration in Finance, and she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation.
