About Jon A. Loth
Jon Loth is Co-head of Global Small Cap Portfolio Management and a portfolio manager of Nuveen’s Small Cap Growth Opportunities and Small Cap Select strategies and related institutional portfolios.
Jon started managing Small Cap Growth Opportunities in 2007. He previously was an equity research analyst covering the healthcare sector for the same team. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, he was an equity analyst covering healthcare and consumer-oriented stocks for large-, mid- and small-cap growth portfolios at Sit Investment Associates. Jon also served four years as the manager of Sit Investment’s domestic equity trading desk. Jon began working in the investment industry in 1994.
He graduated with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Jon holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Minnesota.
