Jessica M. Hill

Jessica is a Managing Director and Client Portfolio Manager for the municipal fixed income group at Nuveen. She supports the firm’s clients and sales teams across all of Nuveen’s municipal bond capabilities and product suite. In this role, she works closely with the muni portfolio managers and research analysts to develop and communicate the team’s views on the economy and market as well as provides insight into the team's investment thesis and outlook. She also helps explain the complexities of the municipal bond market and the benefits of professional municipal bond management to clients.

Jessica has been working in the asset management industry since 1998, specializing in both fixed income and municipal bonds since 2005. Prior to joining Nuveen in July 2025, Jessica spent 20 years at Loomis Sayles and prior related firm, McDonnell Investments, serving financial advisors and the firm's clients as a specialist in fixed income investments. Jessica also has past experience as an analyst at UBS supporting their SMA and mutual fund platforms and at PIMCO where she represented the firm’s suite of fixed income portfolios.

Jessica graduated from Pepperdine University with a bachelor’s degree and is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute.
