Gregory Hessler

Greg is a portfolio manager for Nuveen’s global fixed income team and a member of the investment grade credit sector team. He is a co portfolio manager on all investment grade corporate credit mandates, including Nuveen’s long duration fixed income strategies and liability driven investing mandates. Prior to becoming a portfolio manager, Greg was a research analyst responsible for coverage of the basic industry, transportation and capital goods sectors.

Prior to joining Nuveen in 2015, Greg worked as corporate credit research analyst with J.P. Morgan Asset Management covering the consumer, retail and automotive sectors. Earlier in his career while working for Bank of America Securities, he was an Institutional Investor-ranked analyst, with responsibility for coverage of investment grade consumer and retail, and high yield business services.

Greg graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech, where he serves on the Advisory Board for the Finance Department. Greg received his M.B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a concentration in Finance.
