Amy is a senior solutions analyst for the Institutional Solutions Group within Nuveen Asset Management. She is involved in developing customized investment solutions for clients across the firm’s multi-asset class capabilities. Her focus is on the analysis, implementation and ongoing management of risk-managed strategies. Amy has also been an analyst for Nuveen’s Intelligent Risk Portfolios® – a suite of volatility-managed, global allocation strategies – since 2011.
Amy’s investment experience began at Towers Watson in 2006 where she worked primarily with corporate defined benefit plans as an actuarial analyst. She joined Nuveen in 2008 as a quantitative analyst where she managed the attribution processes for institutional clients including corporate and public defined benefit plans, foundations and endowments. In this role, she was also in charge of ongoing fund analysis and daily monitoring of the firm’s target risk asset allocation mutual funds.
Amy earned a B.S. in mathematics with a minor in statistics from the University of Massachusetts and an M.B.A. in analytic finance and econometrics/statistics with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago.
