About Randy

Randy is Vice Chairman, Chief Investment Strategist and the Interim Head of Wealth at Churchill. As Chief Investment Strategist, he leads the firm’s investment outlook and is dedicated to educating clients and audiences on private capital markets and portfolio strategy. In his role as Interim Head of Wealth, he is responsible for the overall growth and expansion of the Churchill investment strategies across the global wealth landscape. Additionally, Randy serves on Churchill’s Executive Committee and Senior Lending Investment Committee. Randy is also the Founder of The Lead (formerly The Lead Left), a multi-format platform for private capital intelligence.

Previously, Randy oversaw Churchill’s Investor Solutions Group, focused on deepening and expanding the firm’s relationships with investors, and prior to that, he served as Co-Head of Senior Lending, responsible for senior lending origination and capital markets. Randy has broad experience in middle market finance and is widely credited with developing loan syndications for middle market companies. Prior to joining Churchill, he served as a Senior Managing Director and the Head of Capital Markets and Indirect Origination at Churchill Financial, where he was responsible for all loan capital markets activities and managing the firm’s indirect origination platform. Before that, he was a Managing Director and the Head of Leveraged Finance Syndication for BNP Paribas. Randy spent 15 years at JP Morgan Chase in corporate banking and loan syndications, where he originated, structured, and syndicated leveraged loans.

Randy graduated, cum laude, from Trinity College with a B.A. in English, where he currently serves on its Board of Fellows, and received an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Chicago, where he is a member of the Humanities Advisory Council. Randy was named the 2023 “Thought Leader of the Year” by the Alliance of Mergers & Acquisitions Advisors (AM&AA). He is also Treasurer and Board member of Greenwich Advanced Counseling and a member of the Prisoner Visitation and Support (PVS) volunteer program for people incarcerated in U.S. federal and military prisons. Randy is frequently quoted in industry publications, a frequent speaker at leading conferences and a regular guest on Bloomberg Radio. In addition, Randy serves on the LSTA Private Credit Senior Advisory Committee and S&P’s Leveraged Finance Council.
