About Amy

Amy provides strategic leadership for Nuveen’s responsible investing commitments, including its environmental, social and governance (ESG) investment strategies and products, community and impact investing portfolios, active ownership and engagement through corporate stewardship, transparency and reporting.

Prior to joining Nuveen in 2005, Amy served as Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at the Pension Boards — United Church of Christ, where she developed and implemented socially responsible investment strategies. Previously, she was Research Manager at the Council on Economic Priorities, the nonprofit research firm that pioneered the field of corporate social and environmental responsibility ratings for investors and consumers.

Amy joined the board of directors of The Investor Responsibility Research Center Institute for Corporate Responsibility (IRRCi) in 2008 and was appointed to the Steering Committee of the Global Initiative for Sustainability Ratings in 2011. She became a member of the Financial Women’s Association of New York in 2012 and was named to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) Initiative’s Reporting and Assessment Steering Committee in 2014. Amy earned a BS in biology from Boston College and an MS in environmental management and Policy from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
