About Pei Chen
Pei oversees quantitative equity strategies for Nuveen Equities. She manages U.S. small- and small/mid-cap equity strategies.
Pei joined the firm in 2004 and began working in the investment industry in 1990. Prior to joining the firm, she was a manager, special project research at MSCI Barra. In this position, she evaluated the Barra Integrated Model and various research projects. Pei was ranked one of the 2019 Top 20 female portfolio managers in the United States by Citywire Professional Buyer magazine.
Pei graduated with a B.S.B.A. in Computer Science and Math from San Francisco State University and an M.A. in Math from Stanford University.
