Geremy Kawaller, CFA^®

Geremy Kawaller, CFA, is Senior Managing Director, Head of Americas Institutional Distribution at Nuveen. Based in New York, he leads institutional coverage across all non-insurance channels in the U.S. and Canada, overseeing a focused distribution strategy targeting Tier-1 allocators and key strategic clients. He works in close partnership with client portfolio managers and investment specialists to offer clients access to Nuveen's full suite of public and private market investment capabilities.

Prior to joining Nuveen in 2026, Geremy spent 13 years at BlackRock, most recently as a Managing Director in the Americas Institutional Business where he was Head of Pensions for the Central Region of the US. Earlier at BlackRock, he sold and implemented Aladdin, the firm’s institutional portfolio management and risk platform, and launched a suite of iShares fixed income active and passive ETFs. Before BlackRock, he was Director of Sales at VelocityShares, acquired by Janus Henderson in 2014, and he sold structured products to institutional investors while at Barclays Capital.

Geremy holds a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from NYU Stern.
