About Matthew Wokasch
Matthew is a Senior Director and generalist for alternative real estate sectors for Nuveen Real Estate. In addition, he oversees alternative housing and technology sectors for Nuveen Real Estate. Prior to joining the Alternative Real Estate team last year, he established the data science team at Nuveen Real Estate to provide a quantitative approach to evaluating investment alternatives at the macro, sector, market and sub-market levels.
Prior to joining the firm, Matthew was at Green Street Advisors, an independent real estate research group, where he was a member of the advisory and consulting team. He was the lead consultant on more than $60bn of transactions since 2013.
Matthew graduated with a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse and an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
