About Brian Wallick

Brian works in asset management for Nuveen Real Estate’s commercial mortgage debt mandates. He manages the FSB portfolio, which contains 30 loans in total exposure, in addition to a portion of the General Account portfolio.

Previously, Brian worked on loan closings and transitioned into this more asset management-focused role in early 2017. Recent noteworthy financings that Brian has completed on behalf of FSB are the Netflix HQ, a portion of the Apple campus, and the Lord & Taylor flagship in NYC. Prior to joining Nuveen Real Estate in 2015, he managed the ACRES Capital debt portfolio, which consisted of transitional assets and bridge loan financings.

He has also previously managed a portfolio of CRE and multi-family assets at Capital One. Brian graduated with a B.A. from Columbia University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate from Baruch College.
