Christina Volkmann

About Christina Volkmann
As Managing Director, Global Client Group, Christina is leading Nuveen’s sales business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland including liquid and illiquid asset classes. In her role, she is responsible for the entire business development in the DACH region and the relationships with clients in this region.
Until 1. December 2021, Christina spent 8 years at Invesco, where she helped build the German institutional business across all client segments. Since the beginning of 2020, she has led the insurance and ESG-related clients team for the institutional and retail sector in Germany. Prior to Invesco, Christina was Sales Director at BNP Paribas, where she was responsible for fund of funds, banking and wealth management sales. Christina started her career as an Investment Analyst at Fidelity Investments.
Christina has 20 years of investment experience and holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Mainz, specialising in financial market theory and risk modelling for insurance companies. She is also a certified hedge fund consultant at the European Business School (ebs).
