About Alejandro L. Rivera
Alejandro is a portfolio manager and senior research analyst for Nuveen’s global fixed income team and is a member of the emerging and non-U.S. developed markets fixed income team. He is a portfolio manager for the Emerging Markets Local Currency strategy and a co-portfolio manager for the Emerging Markets Debt strategy. Alejandro is responsible for research coverage of the Americas, including Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States, and Turkish sovereigns.
Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Alejandro was a Latin America macro strategist at Santander Investment Securities. He also held positions at the World Gold Council, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, RGE and Moody’s Investor Services. He entered the investment industry in 2004.
Alejandro graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Fordham University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
