About Sarah O'Malley

Sarah O'Malley is a Managing Director and Investment Strategist for Energy Infrastructure Credit at Nuveen. Sarah's responsibilities include developing the investment strategies of the multi-billion-dollar credit investment business, strengthening institutional investor relationships, and leading the co-investment process.

Prior to joining Nuveen, Sarah co-founded the Energy Transition and Infrastructure private investment strategy at Liberty Mutual Investments (LMI) in 2020, investing across the capital stack in the decarbonization of the energy and infrastructure ecosystem. She started at LMI in 2018 as a portfolio manager of the private investments portfolio. Previously, Sarah was CFO of a privately held oil and gas exploration and production company, Sanguine Gas Exploration, LLC, managing finance and strategy, banking, hedging and marketing of oil and gas production, business development, and investor relations for the family-owned operating company. Concurrently, she was CIO of the family's investment office, investing primarily in alternative investments and energy. Before these roles, Sarah spent three years at Goldman Sachs.

Sarah graduated with honors from Columbia Business School and earned her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from UC Berkeley.
