About Marcus Mack
Marcus is Head of Northern Europe, Retail at Nuveen Real Estate and responsible for the overall management of the investment and asset management of retail properties in Northern Europe as well as the fund management of several German and Austrian retail funds. Marcus is also Managing Director of Nuveen Management Austria GmbH and is head of various local teams in Northern Europe.
Since joining the company in 2007, Marcus has worked on a variety of funds, with a particular focus on Germany in the past. Prior to joining Nuveen, he worked as freelancer for several international real estate investment companies.
Marcus graduated with a M.Sc. in Business Administration majoring in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship from the European Business School, Germany and studied at the Leiden University School of Management and the Rotterdam University School of Management in the Netherlands, where he graduated with an M.B.A. in International Management.
In addition, Marcus completed a master’s programme in Real Estate Law (LLM) at the University of Münster, Germany, and has become a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
