About Shahz Khatri

Shahz Khatri is the Head of Trading at Brooklyn Investment Group. He is responsible for portfolio implementation, best execution and reconciliation for all accounts under Brooklyn's management. He also managed the launch of Brooklyn's long/short tax-advantaged strategy and the development of Brooklyn's portfolio simulation platform.

Prior to joining Brooklyn, Shahz worked at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Strategy Group, focusing on portfolio analysis and implementation. Previously, he worked as a lead quantitative developer at Citadel Execution Services, and at Kbit, a global quantitative trading firm in the digital assets space, as the Director of Research. Shahz was also the CTO and founder of Meta Notions, a financial research platform on the cloud that enabled complex financial analysis.

Shahz graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Computer Science and Economics and has done quantitative coursework at the University of Chicago.
