About Donald Hall

Donald is the portfolio manager for the U.S. Cities Diversified Strategy and the Global Head of Research at Nuveen Real Estate. He is a member of Nuveen Real Estate’s Americas Investment Committee and Global Executive Leadership Team. Additionally, Donald is a member of Nuveen’s Global Investment Committee (GIC), which spans asset classes.

Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Donald led Aberdeen Investment’s Real Estate Multi-Manager program in the Americas. His role involved sourcing, underwriting, and investing in commingled private equity real estate funds, club deals, co-investments, and joint ventures on behalf of Aberdeen’s fund-of-fund products and separately managed accounts.

Previously, Donald was Aberdeen’s Head of Americas Real Estate Investment Research. Donald began his career in real estate research and strategy at CoStar Advisory Services, where he ascended to Managing Consultant, Senior Real Estate Economist.

Donald graduated with a B.S. from Penn State University’s Schreyer Honors College and an M.B.A. from the Boston College Carroll Graduate School of Management. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute Research Forum.
