About John Cunniff
John is a portfolio manager for retirement investment solutions. His role includes managing the TIAA-CREF Lifecycle Funds, Lifecycle Index Funds, Lifestyle Funds, Managed Allocation Fund, and the Life Balanced Fund.
In addition, John manages Nuveen’s ESG Growth Model Portfolios. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, John served as director of U.S. equity research at Morgan Stanley and as a portfolio manager for Van Kampen Investments, managing equity and balanced strategies. He entered the investment industry in 1992.
John graduated with a B.S. from Johns Hopkins University, an M.S.E. from Princeton University, and an M.B.A. from Columbia University. He holds the CFA designation, is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Securities Analysts.
