About Markus Aakko

Markus is the Chief Revenue Officer of Brooklyn Investment Group. Prior to joining Brooklyn, he was an Executive Vice President at PIMCO, with senior roles including Global Head of Strategy, Global Head of Transformation and Co-Head of the US Corporate Channel.

Before PIMCO, Markus spent ten years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager within the Global Portfolio Solutions (GPS) business and worked as a Financial Officer at the International Finance Corporation (part of the World Bank Group).

Markus is a CFA charterholder and holds M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Finance from the Helsinki School of Economics.
