About Todd
Todd is the head of northeast retail asset management. He is accountable for the overall performance of a portfolio of 41 retail shopping centers and mixed-use assets totaling approximately 10 million sq. ft.
Previous assignments within the business have included managing a 600,000 sq. ft. urban retail portfolio with assets in Boston, Washington D.C. and New York and serving as internal lead on a number of power/ grocery/lifestyle centers, both wholly-owned and jointly-held ventures with third-party partners. In 2015-2016, as a part of a broader redevelopment project, Todd repositioned the retail component of 475 Fifth Avenue in New York, landing two global flagship stores directly across from the New York Public Library. In early 2016-2017, Todd acquired four high-profile assets on behalf of multiple mandates. Prior to joining the business in 2012, Todd was vice president of asset management at Acadia Realty Trust where he was responsible for the third-party platform including a portfolio of eight mixed-use, urban in-fill redevelopments in Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs totaling over 1.6 million sq. ft. of GLA, the acquisition of the Mervyn’s Department Store chain from Target in 2004, the repositioning of the Levitz portfolio, and several other third-party asset management mandates. Prior to that, he served as vice president of asset management at JDN Realty, responsible for a portfolio of 42 retail shopping centers across the U.S.
Todd graduated with a B.A. in International Studies from Emory College and an M.B.A. from Goizueta Business School at Emory University. He has participated in numerous public speaking engagements and panels including the ICSC, ULI, JLL Retail University, and TIAA’s UConn/UNC M.B.A. forums. Todd is an active member of the ICSC.
