About Reisa
Reisa is Global Chief Operating Officer for Nuveen Real Estate. Located in the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina office, she leads investment governance and operations, supports the planning, coordination and execution of U.S. business process and initiatives. Reisa is a member of the Global Executive Leadership and the Americas Executive Leadership teams and also serves as the chief of staff to the head of Nuveen Real Estate, Americas and is the central point of contact for senior leaders.
In prior roles, Reisa has served as head of human resources for Nuveen Real Estate Americas, where she was responsible for leading all human resources programs and initiatives, including compensation, talent acquisition, talent management, organizational development, diversity and inclusion, and learning/training for the U.S. real estate and private investment teams. In addition to implementing people management strategies, Reisa ensured that firm policies and procedures were implemented across the business area including the annual promotion, performance review, and compensation processes.
Reisa graduated with a B.A. in Communications from Hofstra University an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Phoenix and a certificate of financial planning from Queens College. She also holds the Series 26, 7 and 6 securities registrations.
