About Cristina Hastings Newsome
Cristina is Head of Sustainability at Nuveen Natural Capital and leads sustainability and ESG across the platform. She sits on the Executive Management Team, the Global Investment Committee and the ESG Committee, supporting the strategy and implementation of a broad range of ESG themes to counter climate change through farmland investments.
Cristina joined Westchester from Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) where she led the group’s global sustainability efforts across the Grains and Oilseeds complex. She previously held roles in strategy in AstraZeneca, Proteus and Accenture.
Cristina graduated with an M.A. from the University of Oxford, an M.B.A. from the London Business School, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Value Chains from the University of Cambridge.
