About Jeffrey C. Smith
Jeff is a client portfolio manager for Nuveen. He serves as a product specialist supporting he firm’s global fixed income strategies and assists in addressing the informational needs of institutional and individual clients.
Prior to joining the firm in 2016, he worked at Lord Abbett in several capacities ranging from product strategy to business development. While at Lord Abbett, Jeff drove asset growth initiatives across the institutional and retail channels through engagement with portfolio management and distribution partners. He also worked as an advisor consultant across both the wirehouse and independent channels. Prior to Lord Abbett, he was a relationship manager at PNC.
Jeff graduated with a B.A. in Finance and International Business from Villanova University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Society of New York.
