David Pearce

David is responsible for overseeing all investment, development and asset management activities for the European Value-Add strategy, a pan-European, multi-sector strategy. Prior to this, David was the Fund Manager of the U.K. Property Platform and remains a Fund Director on two U.K. balanced mandates. In addition, David acts as a Board Director of the European portfolio of Nuveen’s Global Cities REIT and sits on the Investment Advisory Committee for the Central London Office Platform. David was a Board Director of the European Cities Platform between 2016 and 2018.

Prior to joining Nuveen Real Estate in 2014, David was a director and fund manager at CBRE Global Investors, where he gained a wide breadth of experience working on the property fund management of a number of the firm’s segregated accounts during his eight years at the company. David also took part in the CBRE Global Investor’s global transfer program and spent time in the head office in Los Angeles working on the Strategic Partners Fund Series, where he was involved in transactional work and development projects. David started his career as a surveyor at Savills and entered the real estate industry in 2002, having previously worked as an analyst for JPMorgan.

David graduated with a B.A., Honours, in Business Studies from the University of the West of England and a Masters in Real Estate from Reading University. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is FCA regulated.
