About Michael Foley

Michael is the Head of Institutional at Churchill, as well as Head of the Investor Solutions Group. He is responsible for leading Churchill’s institutional fundraising strategy and for strengthening existing and building new client relationships globally. He is also a member of Churchill’s Operating Committee and Co-Head of Business Development for Nuveen Private Capital.

Prior to joining Churchill in 2025, Michael was Head of U.S. Institutional at Franklin Templeton, where he oversaw the firm’s U.S. institutional direct sales, consultant relations, and relationship management teams. He previously served as Guggenheim Investments’ Head of Institutional Business for the Americas and UK/Europe. Earlier in his career, Michael was the Head of U.S. Pensions at BlackRock, responsible for managing relationships with public funds and corporate DB/DC plans, as well as Head of Consultant Relations for the U.S. and Canada.

Before BlackRock, Michael held several senior leadership roles at AllianceBernstein, including Head of Global AXA Business Development, where he led all sales and marketing efforts tied to the firm’s multi-billion-dollar strategic partnership with AXA. He also served as Head of U.S. Financial Institutions, Head of Global Institutional Marketing for Alliance Growth Equities, and Head of U.S. Consultant Relations. Michael began his career as a sell-side Equity Analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein.

Michael graduated with merit from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a B.S. in Economics and served as a Captain in the U.S. Army. He earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School with a concentration in General Management.
