About Nigel Bartram
Nigel is the director of finance for Nuveen Real Estate and manages the property fund finance teams in both Europe and Asia, with almost 40 finance professionals in his team. There are 45 funds which have various structures (including Luxembourg FCP, offshore trusts, corporate entities and partnerships). Their investment profiles range from pan- European Retail Property to U.K. Balanced portfolios, Outlet Malls in People’s Republic of China and indirect property funds of funds.
Prior to joining the company in 2004, Nigel spent five years at Schroders, gaining extensive knowledge of the set-up, management and operation of Channel Island unit trust vehicles as head of unit trust finance. He entered the real estate industry in 2003.
Nigel graduated with a B.A., honours, in Business Studies and is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants since 1994.
