Abigail Dean is the Global Head of Strategic Insights for Nuveen Real Assets, leading sustainability, technology, and research to ensure investment strategies integrate ESG principles and respond to global megatrends.

Under her leadership, Nuveen Real Estate committed to achieving Net Zero Carbon by 2040, aligning with the ambitious goals established at COP21 Paris. As a member of the Nuveen Real Estate Executive Leadership Team, Abigail has embedded sustainability into the core investment process.

Before joining Nuveen in 2016, Abigail spent a decade at JLL, leading sustainability for UK Property and Asset Management and serving as a Director in JLL's sustainability consulting practice, Upstream.

Passionate about driving sustainable change in real assets, Abigail serves on the GRESB Standards Committee, the Better Buildings Partnership Board, and the INREV Global Standard Committee.
