About Rebecca Nemirovsky
Rebecca is the Managing Director, Head of Credit for Nuveen Green Capital. In her role, she is responsible for Nuveen Green Capital’s credit, underwriting, as well as lending criteria. With her team of seven, Rebecca has overseen the review of over 1,500 loan applications and over $3 billion in closed C-PACE financing transactions to date.
Prior to NGC, Rebecca provided new development consulting services to clients through Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group (CSMG), where she worked on many of Manhattan’s most prominent projects, providing pricing and due diligence on large scale and high-end new condominium developments. While at CSMG, Rebecca authored the widely read Manhattan Market Report and proprietary neighborhood market reports. Previously, Rebecca gained experience in both real estate and urban policy, working with Business Improvement Districts. Rebecca was involved in overseeing the district’s capital projects, programming and operations. Additional professional experience includes work for Lesley University, as well as the NYU Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy.
Rebecca graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and earned a master’s degree in city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2017, Rebecca was honored with the NGC Founders Award for her entrepreneurial approach as a founding member of the firm and work creating NGC’s approach to underwriting C-PACE transactions, as well as the technological platform upon which the company still runs today.
