About Tanja Volksheimer
Tanja is actively involved in growing Nuveen's residential platform. She also identifies investment opportunities for the pan-European office investment vehicles.
Tanja joined the firm in 2010, sharing responsibility of the investment performance of a German mixed-use real estate portfolio with a focus on pro-active asset management. Projects among others included reconfiguration and redevelopment projects and acting on acquisition and disposal opportunities. Prior to joining the company, she was asset manager and investment manager for office, light industrial, logistics and retail properties of the British/Australian investment manager, GPT Halverton. Tanja has a background in architecture and facility management and has had several practical experiences abroad, including the United States of America, Italy and New Zealand.
Tanja graduated with a Diploma Ing. (FH) Architecture, Wiesbaden, a M.S. in Facility Management in Engineering, Mainz. She is a Registered Architect with Architektenkammer, Wiesbaden and an Investment Advisor (EBS-Real Estate Investment and Finance), Wiesbaden. Tanja is also involved in social projects: She contributes to UrbanPlan – the education program of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) as ULI NEXT representative and is active in the initiative “Business@school“ of the Boston Consulting Group.
